Ask lets users type a question and let the AI locate the specific information within the page. Summarize condenses long articles, reports, and content-heavy pages into key highlights, while Explain translates dense jargon, technical terminology, and complex passages into accessible language anyone can follow. Together, these modes turn passive reading into an interactive, efficient workflow. BLUF runs as a lightweight browser extension and works seamlessly on Chrome and Firefox, making it easy to deploy across most everyday browsing setups. An optimization layer ensures that Summarize and Explain remain fast and reliable even on very large documents, while the platform counts every interaction as a single prompt regardless of how the request is phrased. Privacy is handled with clear boundaries. BLUF retains prompt and response content for up to 30 days, collects only usage data beyond that window, and routes prompt content through OpenAI to fulfill requests.
